Full-time position working on a beautiful mid-sized, third generation family farm with row-crop production and beef cattle. You will be working in a variety of roles. Responsibilities primarily involve trucking grain but also entail the care of livestock and seasonal operation of farm machinery. This includes classic and late model tractors and skid loaders along with implements such as planters, grain carts, hay rakes and balers. Cattle chores comprise mainly of grinding feed and distribution, fence/facility maintenance and occasional sorting. We are seeking someone with a strong work ethic who is prompt and can work flexible hours. A positive attitude and good communication skills are essential. You must have the strength to perform physical tasks indoors and out, including lifting heavy objects. An ability to adapt to changing work environments is crucial. You must have a CDL or willingness to get one (paid for by the company) and have some experience operating farm machinery. A background in livestock is preferred. Shop skills are a plus but not necessary. High school degree or equivalent required.
