We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture and animal care, with experience in various ranching tasks. This position involves working outdoors in a dynamic environment, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the ranch's operations and ensuring the well-being of livestock and crops.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily ranch operations, including feeding and caring for animals such as horses, cattle, and other livestock.
• Perform animal husbandry tasks, ensuring proper health and welfare of all animals on the ranch.
• Operate and maintain equipment necessary for ranch activities, including tractors and forklifts.
• Engage in greenhouse management, including planting, growing, and maintaining various crops.
• Conduct heavy lifting as required for moving feed, supplies, or equipment throughout the ranch.
• Repair and maintain ranch equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Manage garden areas by planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting produce as needed.
• Handle animals safely and effectively during routine care or veterinary visits.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Previous experience in animal handling or equine care is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with greenhouse operations and agricultural practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
• Experience operating farm machinery or forklifts is an advantage.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.

• 8 hour shift
• Overtime
• Rotating weekends
