High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in equine management or other equine related field preferred; however, consideration will be given to those candidates with an equivalent combination of education, experience and training.  A minimum of 2 years of farm and personnel management experience required. Must be able to use typical farm equipment (tractor, drags, truck and trailer, mower). Knowledge of equine related veterinarian equipment a must, as well as knowledge of equine lameness evaluation, basic equine first aid. Experience working with college students and/or employees of differing ability levels with horses preferred.
