Bio Town Ag�s mission and motivation is to extract value out of every possible waste stream in our operation. Our intent as an agribusiness has always been to maximize those values in the creation of truly outstanding products that are meaningful, in demand and profitable. Our operation includes an anaerobic digester that recycles animal waste and other organic by-products to produce methane gas. This biogas is used to either power generators to produce electricity, or it will go through a gas upgrade skid to produce natural gas. The residual from this process is composted on-site and the compost is also used to make topsoil. We are one of the most unique waste recycling renewable energy producers in the United States.
Our company currently has an opening for an Agronomy & Sales Business Director. We are seeking candidates that are self-motivated and people-oriented, have critical thinking skills for problem solving, learn quickly, have attention to detail, and will demonstrate a positive role model as a representative of Bio Town Ag, Inc..
Position Overview:
The Agronomy & Sales Business Director will need to develop and manage the sales and marketing plan for both compost and BioFluent, understand it's operational dynamics, and be the boots on the ground connecting with area farmers to build the sales flywheel. Responsibilities will include management of all marketing and sales efforts in a way to optimize market share, building customer relations, and working with management to coordinate product availability.
Outline of Duties:
1. Implement the Strategic Marketing Plan and use that as a platform for creating a Tactical Marketing Plan that will guide the day-to-day marketing and sales activities in a given year.
2. Marketing efforts will include both direct with customers and indirect (social media, website, etc.) communication with various markets.
3. Communication of new products offerings and pricing information to customers.
4. Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales to meet and exceed sales objectives. Manage sales to meet profit margin objectives.
5. Assure customer satisfaction of products including but not limited to on time and accurate delivery and quality of product.
6. Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
7. Must know, understand, and comply with all safety and government regulations.
8. Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
An individual that has a positive attitude, an outgoing personality, good work ethic, that can work well in a team setting or autonomously.
Responsible driving history and the ability to be covered by company insurance.
Good critical thinking skills for troubleshooting problems along with good verbal communication skills.
Knowledge about landscape and agricultural products.
Benefits:
This salary exempt position will be day shift, Monday to Friday, weekends and additional hours as needed. This position is not remote; office will be in Reynolds, IN.
Full-time position with benefits after 90 days. Benefits include but not limited to: Health, Dental, Vision, Accident, Critical Illness, Life, Disability, and 401k.
Paid time off after 90 days of full-time employment in accordance with the Company�s Paid Time Off (PTO) policy.
