In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll be the right hand to our General Manager, helping to guide crops for planning.  If you’re passionate about agriculture, love making data-driven decisions, and enjoy wearing a few (dirt-covered) hats, keep reading.

What you’ll be doing: As our Associate Agronomist, you’ll be at the core of our farm operations, supporting every stage of the crop lifecycle—from strategic planning to fulfilling customer orders. You’ll:

• Serve as the go-to backup for both the General Manager and Operations Supervisor
• Lead the collection and analysis of critical data to drive farm decisions and meet performance goals
• Assist in building reports, presentations, and metrics for the Board of Directors, customers, and partners
• Collaborate on land use, seed selection, procurement, operations, and quality control
• Help ensure we meet targets for yield, quality, food safety, and sustainability
• Track and support adherence to agronomic plans, safety compliance, and customer expectations
• Grow your skills with support from Bancroft subject matter experts

Qualifications: We’re looking for someone who is just as comfortable scouting fields as they are building dashboards. Ideally, you have:

• A degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Ag Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Passion for sustainable agriculture and data-driven decisions
• Familiarity with farm management software, Excel, or BI tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a team-first attitude
