Farm Manager / Production Supervisor

A leading egg producer is seeking a  Farm Manager or Production Supervisor to oversee the construction and management of a new 20,000-hen barn. This role offers a clear path to advancement, with the opportunity to transition into an Area Service Manager position, where you will develop relationships with local growers and expand this innovative barn model across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construction Oversight: Supervise the buildout of a new, highly innovative barn and ensure all systems are properly installed.
• Flock Management: Oversee initial flock intake, ensuring optimal bird health and production standards.
• Hiring & Team Building: Recruit and train additional staff as needed.
• Regional Expansion: Once the proof of concept is established, take the lead in scaling the model across the region.

What We're Looking For:

Willingness to Relocate: Candidates must be open to living in the Elmira, NY area.

Experience: 3+ years in live production within poultry, swine, dairy, or beef.

Education: A Bachelor's in Animal Science or Agriculture degree is a plus, but not required.
