MUST DO

• Oversee the daily operations of Rocker W Ranch by overseeing staff, animal care, land management, and property maintenance. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise ranch hands, overseeing their daily duties and responsibilities. 
• Oversee all aspects of animal care, including feeding, health, husbandry, and pasture management for wild sheep, whitetail and fallow deer, and Ibex
• Responsible for maintenance and repairs to ranch land, fences, equipment, and buildings. 
• Build and maintain partnerships/relationships with veterinarians, Department of Agriculture personnel, stock breeders, and neighboring ranchers. 
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience managing a ranch or farm and at home with a country lifestyle
• Working knowledge of animal husbandry and experience in outdoor sporting and hunting
• Comfortable operating heavy machinery, such as tractors, mowers, and skid steers
• Strong work ethic 
• Good communication skills
• Self-motivated, excellent time management skills, and attention to detail
• Able to work in a variety of elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises
• Ability to endure strenuous physical work, which may include carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching away from body, and lifting 50+lbs

WORK SCHEDULE

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• On-site housing with utilities provided
