Position Summary

This role will further assist JCB North America’s efforts in building successful business relationships between JCB, our dealers and end-users.  This position will be responsible for the Southeast Territory.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

• Help dealers identify market opportunity and/or prospective customers.
• Help dealers and customers understand the product benefits, engaging in regular end customer visits and demonstrations.
• Represent JCB at farm shows and events.
• Help identify dealer prospects with the capability to promote and sell new concepts.
• Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Forecast, track and report sales activities to management.
• Be the dealer reference point for product questions.
• Administer trading support to get deals done.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent skills knowledge and experience to perform the essential duties of the position
• Two years of equipment sales or industry experience,

• Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, Lotus Notes or SAP
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented

•  Self-motivated, driven, challenge orientated, yet personable.
• Ag equipment knowledge essential, ideally livestock orientated.
• Confident and competent in operating and demonstrating equipment.
• Ideally degree qualified in Agricultural Engineering or Agriculture
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Solid interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listening

Job Conditions       

• Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment
• Subject to noise and temperature changes
