 This position will have the following job duties:

  • Field & Research Support
  • Perform maintenance application of mowing or crop destruction to research plots in strict accordance with Manager’s instructions.
  • Using appropriate tools and equipment, assist in performing pruning, nursery digging, stool bed harvest, land preparation, planting, cultivation, irrigation, trellis construction, destruction and maintenance, bee/bird netting application and removal, and high tunnel construction/maintenance.
  • Assist in performing land preparation by discing, plowing, planting, cultivation, irrigation and plastic mulch application/removal.
  • Track field operations with work orders, time, materials and other records as required by University.
